Quotations invited – NRM Priority Weed Program

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Huon Valley Council is inviting quotes from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to deliver weed management services for the Natural Resource Management (NRM) Team's annual Priority Weed Management Program.

Purpose

The program helps protect the Huon Valley community from the impacts of weeds and ensures Council meets its legal obligations under the Biosecurity Act 2019 to manage declared weeds on Council land.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Delivery of weed management services across a range of priority weed sites, each with different objectives and control approaches
• Contractors may quote for the whole program or for a subset of sites

Quotes must be submitted by email to nrm@huonvalley.tas.gov.au and must be received by 5:00pm on Monday 31 August 2026.

Neither the lowest, nor any quote, will necessarily be accepted.
