Overview
Banana Shire Council requires a quote to engage a suitably qualified contractor to design a brick columbarium for the Taroom Cemetery.
About
There is currently a columbarium wall onsite, created many years ago, with no designs available. Council wishes to create a columbarium with the same design and dimensions. Soil testing results and mapping are available.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Preparation of a plan/design for a brick columbarium matching the existing design and dimensions at the Taroom Cemetery, including footings and brick placement
- Ensuring all construction detailed in the design aligns with Australian Standards
- Inclusion of all necessary site visits and communications as part of the engagement
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified contractor to design the brick columbarium
- Brick dimensions used in the design must be readily available
- Council recommends attending site to confirm measurements
