Overview
Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking tenders for the construction of a shared pathway on East Parade, Buxton, creating a vital additional link connecting Buxton Primary School to the Buxton community, including the upgraded Telopea Park, local shops, and the shopping centre. Once completed, the project will establish a continuous shared pathway spanning 1.5 km from Telopea Park to Buxton Primary School, improving accessibility and connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Construction of a shared pathway along East Parade, Buxton, from the intersection of East Parade and Peak Road, extending along the eastern side of the road reserve for approximately 840m, to the intersection of East Parade and Erith Road
- Delivery of works and services required to complete this section of the continuous shared pathway between Telopea Park and Buxton Primary School
Contractor Requirements
- Suitable pre-qualification as an R2 contractor as a minimum
