Overview
The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (SA), via PIRSA/SARDI, requires specialist naval design and engineering support to progress its replacement coastal research vessel project.
Purpose
The procurement objective is to engage a suitably qualified Naval Design Consultant to provide the design documentation and engineering services required to support delivery of the replacement vessel.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Progressing the vessel project from the existing concept design through the next stage of design development
- Supporting development of construction tender documentation
- Providing ongoing design input, review and oversight throughout the design and construction phases
