WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is seeking to commission an experienced provider to establish and operate a new Medicare Mental Health Centre supporting the community of Kalamunda and surrounding suburbs.

Purpose

The Medicare Mental Health Centre will provide a highly visible, accessible, community-based mental health service for adults experiencing mental health distress, crisis, suicidal crisis, or moderate to severe mental health needs. Services will be delivered in alignment with the National Service Model for Medicare Mental Health Centres and will complement existing local mental health, health and social support services.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Establishment and operation of the Medicare Mental Health Centre servicing Kalamunda and surrounding suburbs
• Delivery of services in alignment with the National Service Model for Medicare Mental Health Centres
• Working collaboratively with local health and community services to support integrated care pathways and improve access to timely, coordinated mental health care
