Overview
Barunga West Council invites suitably qualified and experienced electrical contractors to submit a tender for the upgrade of electrical infrastructure at the Port Broughton Bayside Caravan Park.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Demolition and removal of existing electrical switchboards, power heads, cabling and associated redundant infrastructure
- Coordination with SA Power Networks and the nominated energy retailer
- Provision of a new three-phase 200 amp electricity supply
- Installation of a new main switchboard and amenities distribution board
- Installation of new underground electrical reticulation, conduits and cable pits
- Installation of fourteen new caravan power heads
- Re-connection of retained amenities, lighting and fish-cleaning services
- Temporary power arrangements
- Testing, commissioning, certification, reinstatement and associated works
- Staging of works to minimise interruptions to electrical supply while the caravan park remains operational
- Maintaining the existing dedicated electricity supply to the Council-owned storm-water pump
- Provision of temporary or backup power where required by the Specification
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and experienced in electrical works
- Compliance with the RFT, the Electrical Specification and the issued-for-tender electrical drawings
- Compliance with applicable legislation, Australian Standards, SA Power Networks requirements and all other relevant authority requirements
