Footpath Construction - Eastern Arterial Road St Ives

Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking to engage a suitable contractor to undertake the construction of a footpath on Eastern Arterial Road between Barra Brui Crescent and Nicholson Ave, St Ives, in accordance with the design specification.

About

Ku-ring-gai Council is a Local Government Area in the North Shore region of Sydney. It includes the suburbs of Gordon, Pymble, Lindfield, Killara, St Ives, Roseville, Warrawee, Turramurra and parts of Wahroonga.

Scope

The scope includes but is not limited to the following:

• Preliminaries
• General requirements, including preparation and execution of an environmental management plan, waste management plan, soil erosion and sediment control plan, and preparation and execution of site works and tree protection
• Excavation and soil removal
• Concrete footpath construction
• Concrete kerb wall construction
• Sandstone retaining wall remediation works
• Stormwater drainage connection
• Turf supply, installation and maintenance

Instructions to Tenderers

Tender documents must be obtained after registration.

Tender enquiries should be directed to Council via the online forum.

Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box (preferred), using the attached word version of the Schedule. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.

Submissions can also be placed in a sealed envelope, endorsed with the tender title, number, and closing date, and placed in the Tender Box located in the foyer (level 4) of Council Chambers, 818 Pacific Highway, Gordon 2072, by the nominated time and date.

The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
