Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a Main Contractor to deliver a site wide drainage upgrade at Riverina School, addressing an existing system that is insufficient and causing ongoing flooding issues across the site.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Locating and removing old drainage infrastructure
  • Installing new pipework and dispersion elements to properly manage stormwater
  • Reinstating all disturbed surfaces on completion

Instructions to Tenderers

The project will be procured via an open Registration of Interest (ROI) process, with shortlisted Tenderers invited to a subsequent closed Request for Tender.

Contract Terms and Conditions

  • The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract
  • Works are planned to take place during the school holiday period, indicatively from December 2026 to January 2027
