Overview
Clarence Valley Council is seeking indicative pricing and a proposed methodology from suitably experienced consultants for a local government area wide public lighting audit, to support safety and crime prevention outcomes.
This is a Request for Indicative Pricing only, not an invitation to tender, and is intended to inform Council's budget allocation process. It will not result in the award of a contract. A separate procurement process will follow if Council allocates funding.
Scope
The audit would assess:
- Existing lighting assets and their condition
- Compliance with relevant Australian Standards
- Safety hotspots
- Pedestrian accessibility
- Opportunities to improve natural surveillance, in line with CPTED principles
- Energy efficiency and renewal opportunities
