Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Metro South Health is seeking a suitably qualified Principal Contractor to deliver the Logan Hospital Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Expansion project under a Design and Construct contract.

Purpose

The expansion will increase clinical capacity, improve patient access and support growing demand for ENT, Audiology and associated specialist services.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Reviewing and completing the existing 80% detailed design
  • Refurbishment and expansion of the current ENT Department into adjacent clinical space
  • Construction works within a live hospital environment
  • Services integration
  • Commissioning and handover
  • Reviewing, validating, coordinating and completing the existing detailed design documentation
  • Managing all project interfaces and subcontractors
  • Integrating required building services
  • Completing defects management
  • Delivering works in a staged manner within an operational hospital environment

Contractor Requirements

  • Suitably qualified as a Principal Contractor to deliver a Design and Construct contract
  • Works must be delivered in accordance with applicable legislation, standards and project requirements
