Nelson City Council – Parere Wastewater and Transport Renewal (Physical Works) – RFT – 30Jul2026

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Nelson City Council is seeking a contractor to carry out physical works to renew and upgrade the existing gravity wastewater network and Swallow Main on Parere Street, Nelson, between St Vincent Street and Vanguard Street.

Purpose

Both pipelines are nearing the end of their design lives, increasing the risk of asset failure. The existing road is in poor condition and requires renewal.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Renewal and upgrade of the existing gravity wastewater network on Parere Street, Nelson, between St Vincent Street and Vanguard Street
• Renewal and upgrade of the Swallow Main on Parere Street, Nelson, between St Vincent Street and Vanguard Street
• Coordination of the works with the planned pavement rehabilitation of approximately 188 m of carriageway
