Overview
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: TIDE 2.0 Turf industry development and extension (TU26001).
About
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Purpose
TIDE 2.0 is a four-year, nationally coordinated industry development and extension investment designed to improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of Australian turf businesses.
Objectives
The objectives of the services being sought are:
- Increased adoption of best practices suited to Australian growing conditions
- Increased end-user understanding, confidence in, and use of natural turf
- Building a more capable and connected industry through targeted professional development and leadership initiatives
