Flood Damage Restoration Works to Six Road Crossing Structures

Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking qualified and experienced civil construction contractors to perform flood damage restoration works, rectifying and reconstructing six drainage and crossing structures to their pre-damage condition. This tender is issued to satisfy that requirement, along with the requirements of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 and the Department of Planning & Environment.

About

The Gilgandra local government area is situated in the central west of NSW and covers an area of 4,800 square kilometres, including the township of Gilgandra and three smaller villages of Tooraweenah, Armatree and Curban. Gilgandra is located on the junction of the Newell, Oxley, and Castlereagh Highways. It is 432 km north-west of Sydney and 60 km north of Dubbo, and is located approximately halfway on the inland route from Melbourne to Brisbane.

• The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit
