Coffs Harbour City Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to construct a new detention basin near Coffs Harbour. This tender is released under City contract CON00695, Construction of the North Boambee Detention Basin.

Contract Terms and Conditions

  • The contract will be awarded to a single contractor, however the City retains the right to make the tender award to more than one contractor where appropriate
  • The successful contractor will be bound by the City's GC21 General Conditions of Contract, a copy of which is supplied at Volume 3 of the RFT document package

Tender Briefing and Site Inspection

The City is holding a mandatory site visit for this RFT. Proponents wishing to attend must request the site visit by emailing the Nominated Contact (refer to clause 1.5 of the Volume 1 document) by 12pm on Wednesday 5 August. The Nominated Contact's email address is shown on the cover page of the Volume 1 document.

Instructions to Tenderers

  • RFT documents may be obtained after registration on the etender portal
  • Completed RFT responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box only, using the editable MS Word document supplied in the RFT document package
  • Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion
  • The City is not bound to accept the lowest priced RFT, or all or any part of the RFT, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous
  • City staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal
  • Late, verbal, faxed, or emailed submissions will not be accepted
  • Canvassing of Councillors and members of City staff by a tenderer may render their tender submission ineligible for evaluation
