Overview
General
As at the SOA Date, the Supplies of Pharmaceuticals that are within the scope of this SOA and, if
ordered by the Customer under a Purchase Order, must be supplied by the Supplier to such
Customer, are listed in the Requirements Documentation and/or the Schedule of Prices.
Objectives
The objectives of this SOA include the formation of a panel arrangement for Pharmaceuticals that
allows Eligible Customers to purchase fit for purpose Deliverables and Services which have been
demonstrated to provide value for money.
Deliverables
This document outlines the general requirements for the supply of Pharmaceuticals. Specifically, this
document details the principal’s requirements for the following topics:
• Regulatory requirements
• Medication safety
• Deliveries management
• Packaging requirements
• Management of adverse events
• Wholesaler inventory management
• Storage of all pharmaceuticals including cold chain and ultra-cold chain items
• Continuity of supply and management of stock during shortages
• Compounded Pharmaceuticals
• Management of medicine recalls
• Performance regime and KPIs
This document will form part of the Standing Offer Agreement, superseding all previous documents,
and applies to all pharmaceuticals stored and distributed under this Standing Offer Agreement.
