Security Services - External labour

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The University of Canterbury requires a contracted supplier to provide qualified security personnel on an as-required basis to support campus operations, events, leave cover and emergency situations across UC campuses and associated facilities.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of qualified security personnel on an as-required basis across UC campuses and associated facilities
• Coverage for general rostered shifts, function guarding, sick leave cover, and emergency or disaster situations
• Guards' services to be ordered via email on an as-required basis, with no set hours

Contract Terms and Conditions

Required notice periods for providing staff on site:

• General rostered shifts or function guards: 24 hours' notice
• Sick leave cover: 3 hours' notice
• Emergency or disaster situations: 3 hours' notice

Contractor Requirements

Respondents will need to meet all preconditions in order to proceed to the evaluation stage. Suppliers who cannot meet the precondition criteria should conclude they will not benefit from submitting a response.

Instructions to Tenderers

Only quotes submitted through GETS will be accepted. Respondents should take note of the important times for Q&A and closing dates.
