Pre-qualified Panel for Provision of Traffic Management Services

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The City of Melville is seeking to establish a Panel of suitably qualified and experienced Pre-qualified Suppliers to provide traffic management services within the City.

Scope

• Provision of traffic management services within the City of Melville

The Contract excludes traffic management included as part of other works under separate contracts (present or future) and traffic management conducted directly by the City's own staff.

Contract Terms and Conditions

• Initial contract term of one year, with four additional 12-month option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the City
• The City makes no guarantee of any quantity, volume of work, or spend under the proposed contract
• The intention is to appoint up to three suppliers to the Panel who meet the requirements and demonstrate value for money, however the final number and category of suppliers appointed will depend on the number and quality of submissions received
• In the past the City has required approximately 20,000 hours of traffic management annually, but this is likely to fluctuate and there is no guarantee as to the amount of works that will be provided under the Contract
• If a Contractor is unavailable within the requested timeframe, the City reserves the right to engage a contractor outside of this Contract to perform the works
