1 Manager Delivery Manager

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) requires the services of a Technical Delivery Manager to support the delivery of NCIS Tranche 2 capabilities.

The Role

The Technical Delivery Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning, prioritising and defining upcoming and future release scope with the NCIS Program and Partners, aligned to agreed Business Canvasses
• Overseeing the analysis, refinement, prioritisation and management of the technical delivery team's Backlog (Epics, Features and User Stories)
• Ensuring the quality of Epics, Features and User Stories, including clear description of objectives, scope, interfaces, output, test requirements and acceptance criteria
• Planning and allocating resources to support achievement of on time, on budget releases
• Ensuring the review and sign off of test scenarios and cases by the Testing Team Lead
• Participating in the definition and refinement of Features that input into the NCIS Master Schedule, backlog prioritisation and the allocation of Features for each Program Increment
• Identifying opportunities for refactoring and redesigning at the User Story level
• Building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders and/or other government agencies and industries to identify opportunities and achieve future delivery outcomes aligned to Business Canvases and the Program Plan
• Resolving complex issues using professional knowledge and experience, and identifying and analysing alternative courses of action and their implications
• Assisting the program in the transition of release management from on-premises processes to Azure DevOps
• Overseeing Acceptance into Service and Transition into Service aspects of major and minor releases
• Developing and maintaining operational readiness checklists, and providing oversight and compliance of this process

Role Requirements

The ACIC requires specified personnel to:

• Obtain the ACIC's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement
• Hold an Australian Government security clearance (AGSVA) to at least Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1), or be willing to undergo and obtain an AGSVA NV1 clearance
• As directed by the ACIC, complete a Deed of Confidentiality or Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to commencement, or comply with processes required to engage the specified personnel under section 48 of the Australian Crime Commission Act (2002)

The seller may be required to meet the cost of any security clearances.
