Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The City of Albany is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake high- and low-pressure cleaning services across various locations within the municipality. Timber furniture is to be low pressure cleaned, while all other infrastructure is to be high pressure cleaned.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Provision of high- and low-pressure cleaning services for hard landscaping at the Town Square Precinct and Allison Hartman Gardens
  • Cleaning of CBD footpaths
  • Cleaning at reserve locations
  • Cleaning of buildings including public toilets, bus shelters, information bays, furniture, signs, minor structures and RV dump points, as detailed in Attachment 17, Price Schedule
  • Cleaning frequencies as stipulated in Attachment 17, Price Schedule
  • Provision of a preventative maintenance schedule for the works to the City within two (2) weeks of contract award, programmed against the City's stipulated cleaning frequencies (quarterly, biannually or annually)
  • Cleaning of public toilets at the City's nature-based campgrounds, including all concrete floors, interior and exterior walls and roof, at Cosy Corner East, Torbay Inlet, Betty's Beach, Norman's Beach and East Bay
  • Sweeping out any excess water from campground toilet facilities on completion of works to prevent degradation, rust or damage to the structures
  • Pressure cleaning of the RV dump point at Cosy Corner East on a quarterly schedule, with the City's preferred servicing months being February, May, August and November

Contractor Requirements

  • Suitably qualified and experienced in the provision of high- and low-pressure cleaning services
  • Vigilant and mindful of campers and visitors when servicing the nature-based campgrounds
