The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres, with a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.

Overview

City of Parramatta Council is seeking to procure an updated Handheld Fine Issuance (Enforcement) Software solution to support the issuance of on-the-spot penalty notices for breaches of legislation regulated by Council within the Local Government Area.

Objectives

The proposed solution is expected to deliver the following key outcomes:

• A user-friendly mobile application to support regulatory officers in their daily operations, including issuing infringement notices and recording relevant information such as vehicle details, locations, tyre chalking, Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) checks, and ticket compliance
• A user-friendly reporting platform capable of generating relevant operational and analytical reports, including fine issuance data, officer activity, tyre marking results, MPS checks, and performance by officer and/or geographic area
• Provision of ongoing technical support to ensure system reliability and enable staff to perform their duties without disruption

For this reason, questions submitted by email will not be responded to and should instead be posted on the public forum.

The Tender Forum will close 2 business days prior to the tender closing date. Any questions should be submitted before this time to allow a response to be provided.

Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted, and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or staff shall disqualify the relevant tender. Late, verbal or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
