Stonor Formation Renewal

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Tasmanian Railway Pty Ltd (TasRail) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and competent rail works contractor to undertake the Stonor formation renewal and track works on the South Line in support of the Infrastructure Investment Program (IIP) and in conformance with the documents issued or referenced in this tender.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Stonor formation renewal works on the South Line
• Associated track works on the South Line

Contract Terms and Conditions

• TasRail anticipates awarding the contract in September 2026
• Works are to be completed in one of two periods: 12 October 2026 to 20 November 2026, or 15 March 2027 to 30 April 2027, or as otherwise agreed at contract award
• The works are linked to required Milestone Payment Commitments to the Government

• Suitably qualified, experienced and competent rail works contractor
