Tender Description
Overview
The City of Kingston is seeking an experienced consultant to undertake an independent assessment of the indoor and outdoor learning environments across Council's three Family and Children's Centres, located in Carrum, Edithvale and Parkdale.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Independent assessment of the indoor and outdoor learning environments at the Carrum, Edithvale and Parkdale Family and Children's Centres
- Evaluation of the quality, functionality, presentation and educational value of each environment against contemporary early childhood education and care best practice, sector trends and community expectations
- Assessment of how each environment supports children's learning, development, wellbeing, inclusion, creativity, independence and play, extending beyond a traditional building condition review
- Identification of opportunities to improve the overall customer experience for children, families and educators, including enhancements to learning spaces, outdoor play environments, furniture, fixtures, educational resources and the general presentation of each centre
Contractor Requirements
- Experience undertaking independent assessments of early childhood education and care environments
