Overview
The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is seeking a suitably qualified delivery partner to design, coordinate and implement the next phase of the Grain Automate Extension Program.
About
Grain growers are increasingly exposed to automation, autonomy and digital farming technologies, yet adoption is often constrained by limited readiness, capability and confidence to implement these systems effectively. This investment builds on the successful establishment of the Grain Automate Hub and earlier extension activities.
Purpose
This investment will deliver the next phase of the Grain Automate Extension Program to expand national reach, strengthen regionally relevant delivery and provide growers with practical learning pathways for adoption of automation, autonomy and digital farming technologies.
Objectives
- Enhance grower capability in automation, autonomy and digital farming technologies
- Support informed investment decisions by growers
- Accelerate the adoption of automation-enabled farming systems that improve productivity, labour efficiency and whole-farm performance
Scope
The scope includes:
- Nationally coordinated workshops
- Demonstrations
- Digital learning resources
- Readiness tools
Instructions to Tenderers
- Offers will remain open for acceptance by the GRDC for a period of 6 months after the Closing Time
- GRDC will accept Tenders from Consortia
- Submit your tender response electronically through the Grains Investment Portal
- Read the Tender Submission Tip Sheet before applying
- Make all requests for further information or clarification in relation to this procurement in writing (email) prior to 14 August 2026
- GRDC will publish all requests and responses to requests on the GRDC website under Questions and Answers at the bottom of the webpage
