Pre-mixed Concrete Supply & Delivery

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The City of Cockburn (the Principal) requires a suitably experienced and fully resourced Contractor to manufacture, supply and deliver pre-mixed concrete to the City's Operations Centre in Bibra Lake and to various locations across the municipality, as directed by authorised City officers.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Manufacture, supply and delivery of pre-mixed concrete to the City's Operations Centre in Bibra Lake and to various locations across the municipality, as directed by authorised City officers
• Supply of N20 concrete with 20 mm aggregate, an 80 mm nominal slump and kerbing mix
• Provision of additional pre-mixed concrete products of a similar nature throughout the Contract term
• Delivery to support the City's ongoing kerbing, civil maintenance and minor capital works programs

Contractor Requirements

• Suitably experienced and fully resourced to manufacture, supply and deliver pre-mixed concrete
• Maintenance of sufficient production capacity, fleet availability and operational systems to ensure reliable, timely and consistent delivery of concrete
• Compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 and, when requested, ability to provide a Modern Slavery Statement as required by the Act

Contract Terms and Conditions

• Normal delivery hours are Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• The proposed contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend the period for a subsequent one (1) year period and up to a further twelve (12) months
• The Contract is expected to commence in August 2026

Instructions to Tenderers

The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.

• Tenderers are required to address all requirements as outlined in the request
• Please ensure that you fully read and understand the Conditions provided in the Conditions of Responding and Tendering and in ALL documentation provided
• Failure to comply shall deem your submission non-compliant
