Overview
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (NT) is seeking a contractor to supply and install a new perimeter fence at Maningrida Aerodrome, replacing the existing fencing around the aerodrome perimeter with new security fencing.
Purpose
This project will enhance the security and operational safety of the aerodrome by providing a robust and compliant perimeter fence. The upgraded fencing will improve safety and security by reducing wildlife access to the runway area and limiting unauthorised entry onto aerodrome property.
Scope
The works will include:
- Removal of the existing fencing
- Construction of new security fencing in accordance with DLI Standard Drawing CS3308, including footings, strainers, posts, barbed wire, and gates
- Disposal of all redundant materials off-site
