General items
• Allow for providing samples of all items, whether specified or not, for approval by the Client prior to incorporating into the works.
The Subcontract Works include, but are not limited to the following works:
• Supply and installation of all metal roof sheeting including to all walkway roofs, soffit sheeting, eaves sheeting and wall cladding as detailed;
• Vapour barrier to be continuous from walls to roofs;
• All flashings, cappings, turn ups, turn downs, compression seals, dektites, aprons, barges, fascias, gutters including eaves gutters, box gutters & valley gutters plus all necessary brackets, bottom & side supports, straps, overflows, pops, sumps and fixings for the gutters and all other necessary works to ensure a water tight finish;
• All battens, wall angles, angles etc. to all wall, soffit and fascia areas as required to enable fixing to deemed to comply requirements;
• Colour coded screws and fixings as required;
• Supply and installation of all necessary sumps, pops, hoppers and the like to gutters to enable the supply and installation of PVC downpipes by others;
• Supply and install all necessary battens, supports, wall angles, angles, insulation, vapour barrier, flashings, capping, wall cladding and the like to structural steel work and external walls as detailed;
• Allowance for edge protection including handrails and the like required for the safe installation of the roofing and wall cladding;
• Allowance for all necessary cutting, as required;
• Supply and installation of all necessary blocking, packers and the like, as required;
• Warranties as required by the contract documents;
• Allow for all necessary cranage and access requirements.
