Wharves Remediation Project

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified organisation to perform works involving the remediation of wharf structures which form part of Wharf 7 and the South Wharf.

Purpose

The objective of the works is to restore the functional stability of the wharves by replacing severely compromised construction elements and repairing deteriorated construction elements where feasible.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Remediation of wharf structures forming part of Wharf 7 and the South Wharf
• Replacement of severely compromised construction elements
• Repair of deteriorated construction elements where feasible
• Intrusive investigations associated with the specified remedial works

A Statement of Requirements (SOR) outlines the responsibilities of the parties to the Contract, supported by reference documents including tender drawings and commissioning specifications provided in Attachments A to F.

Contractor Requirements

Conditions for Participation

• The Tenderer has demonstrated financial corporate stability for a minimum period of five years
• The Tenderer possesses the required insurances, including a minimum of $20,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, $20,000,000 Product Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance to the amount required by law
• The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the nominated tender closing date and time
• The Tenderer has submitted a Tender Submission for the entirety of the specified remedial works and the intrusive investigations, and generally addressed the mandatory and scored criteria

Contract Terms and Conditions

• Completion Date: 30 June 2027
• Estimated Value (AUD): From $7,500,000.00 to $8,400,000.00
