Canning Vale Sports Complex Design

⁠⁠⁠The Canning Vale Sports Complex (project) has been identified as critical infrastructure needed within the City of Canning (City) as a result of the needs analysis undertaken by the City which projected population growth over the next 20 years; with age profiling indicating there would be a strong demand for club-based activities and passive social activity space.

The project responds directly to the increasing pressure on existing facilities and the need for a sporting hub that can cater to diverse community demands now and into the future; and aims to significantly enhance the local communities access to high-quality sports infrastructure, particularly focusing on soccer, AFL, cricket, and athletics, along with supporting infrastructure including sports lighting, change rooms, club rooms, storage, and car parking; which will enhance social cohesion, liveability, and accessibility to sporting facilities in the City, and the surrounding local government suburbs.

The City is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for the provision of comprehensive architectural services, including both landscape and building design for the project.

The services are to be delivered on a lump sum fee basis in accordance with the scope outlined below, with the exception of Stage 4, which shall be provided on an hourly rate basis in accordance with the schedule of rates submitted by the Respondent:

•  Stage 1: Concept Design
•  Stage 2: Design Development
•  Stage 3: Tender Documentation
•  Stage 4: Tender Process
•  Stage 5: Contract Documentation
•  Stage 6: Construction Support
•  Superintendency (optional lump sum)

The successful Respondent will also undertake the role of the Lead Consultant to confirm the team of sub-consultants and coordinate and manage a broader sub-consultancy team to ensure all deliverables are fully integrated, coordinated and submitted in accordance with the requirements

The proposed Contract will be awarded to a single consultant to satisfy all requirements.
