Motor Dealer Assessment Expert Panel (MDAEP) – establishment of a standing offer panel for the provision of motor dealer assessment, inspection and reporting services.
Project goals
- Establish a panel of qualified motor dealer assessment and inspection experts.
- Support NSW Fair Trading with independent assessments, inspections and reporting for claims and investigations.
- Enable flexible, task-based engagement of experts as needed.
- Ensure access to specialist expertise without guaranteed work volumes.
- Maintain NSW Fair Trading’s responsibility for all regulatory decisions.
Opportunity requirements
1. Statement of Work - Motor Dealer Assessment Expert Panel (MDAEP)
(a) The Supplier's Activities are to provide independent motor dealer assessment, inspection and reporting services to NSW Fair Trading on an as‑required basis, in accordance with work orders issued under the standing offer arrangement.
(b) The core objectives of the Supplier's Activities are to:
(i) undertake timely, accurate and independent motor dealer inspections and assessments as requested by NSW Fair Trading; and
(ii) provide clear, defensible written reports and supporting evidence to inform regulatory and decision‑making processes
(c) The Supplier must handle all information obtained in connection with the Services securely and in accordance with the Contract, applicable privacy legislation, and any reasonable directions of the Principal.
