ROI for Main Contractor for Drainage Remediation at Whangarei Girls High School

⁠⁠⁠The School’s wastewater infrastructure is at the end of its serviceable life and is experiencing ongoing failures. Urgent repairs were completed under the previous 5YA; however, full replacement and re-lining of sections of the wastewater network are now required to mitigate further system failures and reduce the risk of flooding within parts of the School’s pipework. The existing wastewater network currently converges to a single main discharge area before exiting the site.

The proposed works include separating the line to bypass this area and improve system resilience.

The condition of the existing stormwater infrastructure is currently unknown, and a site-wide CCTV investigation is required to determine whether any stormwater remedial works are necessary.
