Tender for Provision of Legal Services

⁠⁠⁠Orange City Council is seeking Tenders for the provision of legal services for a period of five (5) years, with an option to extend for up to a further two (2) years at Council's discretion. depending on Council's operational requirements at the time.

Council reserves the right to select one legal firm or a panel of legal firms to fulfil the requirements set out in the scope of services in Part 2 of the Request for Tender.

The legal requirements of Council cover a range of categories for which professional, accurate and timely services are required. The categories are summarised below:

a) Local Government Act 1993 and related legislation;

b) Planning and Development;

c) Industrial and Employment Relations.

Tenders may be submitted for all or some of the services as detailed in this Scope of Services. Council reserves the right to select multiple firms to fulfil the provision of each category of service.

Please note that Council cannot and will not negotiate with respect to the terms of the Contract, including suggested changes submitted as part of a Tender, after a Tender is accepted. If the Tenderer wishes to vary the terms of the contract for Council's consideration when assessing the Tender, the Tenderer MUST, using Tender Submission Form 'Statement of Conformance'
