Tender Description
Parkes Shire Council (the Principal) is seeking tenders for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Akuna Road Pump Station (ARPS).
The scope of works includes the delivery of an 860kW ground-mounted solar PV system to support pumping operations at the Akuna Road Precinct. The works comprise (and the Contractor is to), but not limited to, the following:
- Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an 860kW ground-mounted solar PV system
- Supply, installation and commissioning of grid-connected inverters of 660 kW AC capacity
- (e.g. 6 x 110 kW units).
- Installation of approximately 170 metres of underground DC cabling from the solar PV array to the ARPS main switch room, including approximately 60 metres of sub-array cabling and cable containment.
- Provide a complete solar PV system, including the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the system
- Integration of the solar PV system with the new ARPS electrical infrastructure, including locating the inverters into the switchroom and connections to the main switchboard located within the pump station
- Preparation of all technical documentation, including design documents, certifications, commissioning records, and as-built drawings
- Lodgement and management of all applications and approvals required by Essential Energy for network connection, on behalf of the Principal
- Compliance with all relevant Australian Standards, network requirements, statutory obligations and workplace health and safety requirements
- Provide relevant case studies or example solutions that have been delivered that demonstrate capability to meet objectives and functional requirements of the project.
