Sydney Catholic Schools is seeking to engage a Panel of accredited bus operators to undertake bus and coach charter services, ensuring that eligible students receive the required transport to attend their events.

Purpose

The objective of this procurement is to ensure that eligible students are transported to and from school, and between schools.

Objectives

The provision of the Services will:

• Be safe
• Be reliable and reasonably comfortable, getting students to their destination on time
• Provide confidence to all stakeholders (government, caregivers, and schools) that the Services are fit for purpose
• Represent appropriate and sustainable value through both the quality and cost of the service and the way it is delivered
• Be achieved through a fair, open, and transparent procurement process and managed through clear contract responsibilities

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of bus and coach charter services to Sydney Catholic Schools
• Transport of eligible students to attend school events

Contractor Requirements

• Accreditation as a bus operator

Instructions to Tenderers

Schools will seek quotes and availability in the first instance from operators on the Panel. The pricing provided in the returnable schedule will be the maximum that Sydney Catholic Schools will be required to pay and will be used as a guide, taking into account factors such as number of passengers, route, and timing.
