Tender Description
Overview
The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) to design and construct the following:(i) A new ferry terminal, including landside integration, abutment, fixed jetty, gangway and pontoons, located on the north side of the existing Raffles complex in Applecross.
(ii) A new ferry terminal, including abutment, fixed jetty, gangway and pontoons, located within Matilda Bay in Crawley.
(iii) New mooring piles adjacent the existing Jetty 2 and Jetty 5 structures at Barrack Square (8 piles in total).
The WUC shall include all items of work set out or implied in the Contract documents including the Principal’s project requirements and the drawings, and all further work necessarily incidental to the proper completion of the WUC, including provision of all labour, supervision, administration, temporary works and management and supplying of materials, construction plant, equipment and services necessary.

Mandatory Joint Site Inspection
A mandatory joint site inspection of the following sites will be held as follows:
| Site Inspection Details: | A guided tour and inspection will be provided at each site; Applecross, Matilda Bay and Barrack Square.
Tenderers must attend all three (3) mandatory site inspections. The site inspection attendees will be required to attend each site via their own transportation. An allowance of 3-4 hours is anticipated. |

| Registration: | Interested parties are requested to confirm their intention to attend by contacting Caitlin McGee before 5:00pm on Wednesday 10 June 2026, using the contact details on the front cover of the RFT. |
At any time following the mandatory joint site inspections, interested parties may inspect the public portions of the site at their convenience.
Mandatory Joint Briefing Session
A mandatory joint briefing session is open to all interested parties and will be held as follows:
