Pre-season Summit Venue

⁠⁠⁠The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), part of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, has a requirement for the provision of a venue with facilities for conferencing, catering, visual displays, capacity for outdoor demonstrations and reception areas.

The venue will facilitate presentations and rotating expo-style workshops to provide a foundation layer of pre-season training and education, playing a key role in appropriately preparing expeditioners for their technical and collective training blocks, and life on station.

To host the Australian Antarctic Program Expeditioner Summits, the AAD will require a suitable venue that can accommodate up to 150 expeditioners per day with sufficient and appropriate meeting rooms to facilitate a range of conference and workshop sessions. Due to the number of expeditioners and deployments of varying start and completion dates, there is a requirement to host four summits across the season.
