Hardwood Plantation Mechanical Site Preparation Works

⁠⁠⁠Project goals

The Forestry Corporation of New South Wales (FCNSW) invites tenders from suitably qualified parties to undertake contract re‑establishment services for plantation hardwoods on the North Coast of NSW (Northern Region).

FCNSW’s hardwood re‑establishment program typically covers approximately 600–1,000 hectares per year, consistent with the scope of this RFT.

The Work Package on offer includes Mechanical Site Preparation Works such as:

• Dozer Stacking
• Excavator Stacking
• Chopper Rolling
• Direct Ripping
• Line Ripping
• Rip Mounding
• Other Miscellaneous works.

LOCATION OF WORKS

The works will be carried out across all Zones during the next 3 years, though during Year 1 (FY27) works will be predominantly carried out within Zones 2 & 3.

Indicative zones are:

• Zone 1 – Queensland border to Grafton

• Zone 2 – Grafton to Kempsey

• Zone 3 – Kempsey to Wyong
