Tender Description
The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is seeking submissions from suitably qualified Civil Engineering Consultants to provide detailed design services for the redesign of the Soldiers Road Principal Shared Path (PSP).
The redesign is required to respond to:
• The Public Transport Authority (PTA) Main Cable Route (MCR) alignment;
• Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) requirements to avoid environmentally sensitive areas;
• Updated rail corridor interface requirements; and
• The need to progress the project toward approvals and future construction.
The PSP is approximately 6 km in length and forms a key active transport link connecting the existing PSP south of the rail crossing near Court Grammar School to the broader regional path network.
The primary objectives of this commission are to:
• Update and refine the PSP alignment to reflect current constraints;
• Obtain PTA third-party approvals for the revised design;
• Deliver construction-ready documentation; and
• Provide an updated construction cost estimate to support future funding.
