This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Role:
Lead end-to-end delivery of both business and technology projects within a structured governance framework aligned to federal government standards
Deliver complex projects and initiatives that contribute to strategic outcomes, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, governance requirements, and delivery standards.
Ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance practices.
Operate as a key delivery leader within the PMO, contributing to continuous improvement and consistency of project management practices across the organisation.
Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure) in accordance with PMO frameworks and governance standards
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment to approved baselines
- Ensure alignment with organisational strategy and government compliance requirements including adherence to governance gates and reporting obligations
- Manage stakeholders across business and IT, including executive reporting and proactive engagement to ensure alignment and issue resolution
- Drive governance, including stage gates, reporting, and assurance activities to support oversight and informed decision-making
- Manage vendors and delivery partners including performance monitoring, contract oversight, and value delivery
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues with appropriate escalation and mitigation strategies
- Ensure benefits realisation and transition to business-as-usual including handover, adoption support, and outcome tracking
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Change Managers, and Assurance functions to ensure integrated delivery outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO delivery practices, tools, and templates
- Other duties as required
