Airport's Fire Safety Installation Services & Maintenance

⁠⁠⁠Seeking services to inspect, test, service and maintain the Fire Safety Installations at Emerald Airport facility.

Scope:

Central Highlands Regional Council (Principal) is seeking the services of a qualified and competent provider to inspect, test, service and maintain the Fire Safety Installations at Emerald Airport facility.

This includes airside within the terminal building, hangars and non-airside facilities. The scope also includes the Contractor to provide personnel and services to fulfil the statutory role and responsibilities of the Fire Safety Adviser (FSA) for the Airport facility.

The services provided under this Contract are intended to assist the Principal, as the occupier, in meeting its obligations under the Fire Services Act 1990 (Qld), the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (Qld), QDC MP 6.1, and relevant Australian Standards relating to building fire safety.

The Emerald Airport is located east of the Gregory Highway, approximately 3.7km south of the Capricorn Highway.

The Contractor must be suitably qualified and competent to inspect, test, service and maintain Fire Safety installations and to provide Fire Safety Assessments, routine maintenance, planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and Fire Safety Advisory services, as required to ensure facility compliance
