GRDC is seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Specialist to provide expert cyber security advisory services and technical design leadership within the Information, Digital and Technology (IDT) team. The role is responsible for shaping secure‑by‑design solutions across cloud, application, integration, and enterprise platforms; reviewing and endorsing solution architectures; and ensuring alignment with GRDC’s security standards, policies, and approved risk profile.
The Cyber Security Specialist will work in close collaboration with architects, delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to identify and assess security risks, define proportionate and pragmatic controls, uplift secure coding and DevSecOps practices, and support incident response, assurance, and compliance activities. The position requires deep, hands-on cyber security expertise, strong architectural judgement, and the capability to influence outcomes within a complex, multi-vendor environment.
