Supply And Delivery Of Gravel Basecourse Material

⁠⁠⁠This document is an invitation to tender for the supply of base course material consisting of durable pebble in soil mortar to the Shire of Waroona, on an as required basis. Supply will be based on ‘supply and supply and delivery’.

The Principal expects to require in the order of 6000 cubic metres of this material each financial year for the duration of the contract period however this is subject to increase or decrease at the sole discretion of the Principal.

The contract will commence as soon as practical as advised in the letter of acceptance issued to the successful Tenderer and will run for the period until the contract concludes 30th June 2027. The principal will consider as set out in this contract two (2), one (1) year options to extend the term of the contract.

The Contractor will:

Provide all Occupation Safety and Health documentation

Complete pre-qualification WH&S induction

Complete site induction with principal representative

A full statement of the goods and/or services required under the proposed contract appears in the Specification.

The successful Tenderer will be required to enter into a Contract with the Principal.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Canvassing of Councillors will disqualify. Late tenders or email and facsimile tenders will not be accepted.

Prospective tenderers are advised that the Shire will not be submitting a tender in this instance.
