Scope:
The scope of the works is for the construction of a new pound at the rear of the Ayr Transfer Station. The building shall be masonry block construction in accordance with design plans TFBD – 26006 Issue A – A01 through A07.
Contractors Responsibilities
In parallel to all legislative and safety requirements required by law to execute the works outlined in the scope of works above, specification and stated in the contract, the Contractor will also be responsible for:
• Location, identification, and protection of all utilities and services along the alignment of the works.
• Upon signing the Contract, the Contractor shall be made Principal Contractor for the works. The Contractor would be nominated as the Principal Contractor to meet the project obligations under the harmonised work health and safety laws, being Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld).
• All site security of works, laydown areas, etc for the duration of the works.
• The Contractor shall be responsible for all testing.
• The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all permits for the works including Building and Plumbing.
• The Contractor is to provide when tendering.

• The Contractor prior to commencing works shall provide the following.
- Building and Plumbing Approvals.
- Insurance of Works Certificate.
