Glasgow Street Reserve Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠The City of Onkaparinga is seeking responses from suitably qualified suppliers for:

• Glasgow Street Reserve Upgrade

Scope:

Glasgow Street Reserve in Christie Downs is classed as a neighbourhood family reserve, with existing play equipment, furniture and irrigated turf area. This reserve has been scheduled to be upgraded in the 2026/27 financial year, with the existing elements reaching the end of useful asset life. 

Work included:

The contractor must include allowances for all plant, tools, materials and labour, and shall include but shall not be limited to:

• All installations must comply with current standards and regulations per AS/NZS 3500, NCC the plumbing code of Australia and all SA variations, along with current OTR advisory notes.

• Connect to existing 40mm TDCV (containment) and extend to new 40mm TDCV (zone).

• Connect drinking water line after containment TDCV, before zone TDCV and extend to proposed location for new drinking fountain.

• Extend new DN63 EFW HDPE main line to supply irrigation system, as indicated on drawings.

• Connect new 25mm Master Valve and Flow Sensor, as indicated on drawings.

• Supply and install a new Rain Bird ESP-2-Wire controller, with all accessories to enable IQ4 compatibility, as indicated on the project drawings.

• All required electrical connections to be facilitated and arranged by installing contractor, compliant with SAPN requirements. Council to pay SAPN fees.

• Supply and install an automatic irrigation system as indicated on the drawings, including turf and tree irrigation.

• Include existing drip station and upgrade to include 2-wire compatibility.

• Arrange a Practical Completion inspection as specified.

• Arrange for GPS as-constructed survey and provide the irrigation consultant with marked-up, as-constructed plans indicating any changes to the design drawings. 

Responses must be lodged before the Closing Time and in accordance with all other requirements specified within the request documents.
