Requirements
The purpose of this engagement is to procure specialist cybersecurity services to develop system specific cybersecurity artefacts required to support the Authority to Operate (ATO) assessment for Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium) and GitHub Copilot within the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW).
The engagement will require the successful respondent to assess the architecture, configuration, and operational implementation of both platforms and produce formal security documentation aligned to Australian Government security requirements (including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Information Security Manual (ISM)).
The outcome of this work is a complete and auditable set of security artefacts suitable for submission to Certification and Accreditation Authority of the AIHW.
Context
AIHW is undertaking the controlled introduction of two Microsoft AI-enabled platforms:
- Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium), operating within the AIHW M365 tenant to support productivity across enterprise applications; and
- GitHub Copilot, operating within AIHW’s development environments (VDI and Azure DevOps) to support software development activities.
These platforms are being assessed as independent systems for the purposes of security accreditation, with separate system boundaries, risk profiles, and artefact sets required to support ATO decisions.
