Pest Control Services
Scope
4.1 The Contractor will be required to provide comprehensive Pest Control and Inspection Services across all applicable South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) owned and leased facilities, excluding locations where pest control services are managed by landlords under lease arrangements.
4.2 The scope includes the delivery of scheduled preventative pest management, reactive and emergency pest control services, and inspection services, covering both internal and external areas of facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, clinical and non‑clinical areas, administrative spaces, HealthShare‑managed kitchens and stores, internally leased retail areas, plant rooms, basements, car parks, docks, and surrounding external environments.
4.3 Services will cover the management of general pests, rodents, insects, birds, termites, borers, and other nominated pests in accordance with relevant legislation, NSW Health policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards. The Contractor will be responsible for supplying all labour, materials, chemicals, equipment, reporting, and documentation required to deliver the services safely and effectively.
4.4 The Contractor must deliver services in a manner that supports infection prevention, food safety, work health and safety, asset protection, and minimal disruption to patients, staff, visitors, and facility operations.
