OPPORTUNITY:
UTS is seeking to establish a contract for the provision of compliant and competitive offers for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of a Liquid Chromatography–High-Resolution Accurate-Mass Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRAM-MS) system. The proposed system may include, but is not limited to, Quadrupole Time-of-Flight (Q-TOF) or Quadrupole Orbitrap-based mass spectrometer architectures. The system must be supplied as a complete, fully integrated solution, including all necessary ancillary equipment, utilities, and support systems, such as liquid chromatography pumps, autosamplers, vacuum systems, and associated control and data-analysis software. The successful tenderer is also expected to provide supporting services, in coordination with UTS, in a timely manner to ensure sufficient uptime of the equipment.
RFT OBJECTIVES:
The objectives for this acquisition are:
- Ensuring safety of UTS staff/students, enhancing efficiencies and delivering quality of service and research outcome for UTS;
- Ensure the best overall value for money outcome for UTS. This includes assessment of both compliance with mandatory requirements and performance against weighted evaluation criteria and reduction the total life cost of the system and associated deliverables;
- To secure professional ongoing warranty, maintenance and other support services for the Systems;
- Effective management of risks including ESG risks;
- Compliance with all applicable laws, standards, codes, and policies;
- On time delivery;
CLOSING DATE AND TIME:
Submissions must be fully received by 14:00 AEST Wednesday 3 June 2026.
UTS is not bound to accept the lowest priced submission or any part of a submission and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Late, verbal, faxed, mailed, or emailed submissions will not be accepted.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS:
Completed responses are to be submitted via the electronic tender box before the nominated cut-off date and time. Submission upload that commences before the cut-off time, but is completed after the cut-off time will be deemed unsuccessful by the system.
