Tender Description
1. Excavation and Ground Preparation
- Excavate the designated locations for foundation construction.
- Ensure proper clearance and level the ground as needed.
2. Pads Construction
- Conduct a site assessment to identify suitable locations for transmission line tower pads.
- Develop engineering designs adhering to Australian standards for the pads load-bearing capacity.
- Clear pad areas of vegetation and debris, and grade the land for a stable surface.
- Construct pads using approved materials (e.g. compacted gravel or concrete).
3. Benching
- Perform a survey along the transmission line route to identify areas requiring benching.
- Develop benching plans ensuring a clear path with proper horizontal and vertical clearances.
- Execute earthworks and grading to create a levelled bench, removing obstacles.
- Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment during benching.
4. Tower Reinforcement Placement
- Install appropriate reinforcements, such as steel rods or cages, within the excavated areas to enhance foundation strength.
5. Alignment with concrete pouring program
6. Anchor Bolt Installation (if applicable)
- Embed anchor bolts in the wet concrete to facilitate later tower installation.
7. Quality Assurance and Inspections
- Implement rigorous quality checks throughout the construction process.
- Conduct inspections to verify compliance with Program specifications and standards.
