ICT Research and Advisory Services FY 2026 27

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (the department) digital divisions are seeking to engage 1 or more experienced vendors to deliver and provide ICT advisory and research services that include, but may not be limited to:

• providing self‑service advisory membership with access to research, tools, and client support to enable senior technology executives to independently drive informed business and technology decisions
• providing all staff in digital divisions (around 1,000) with access to ICT technical subject matter experts and analysts, published research, analyst webinars and insights, value reviews, key IT metrics and benchmarking data, and team workshops.

Key Deliverables

• Annual subscription to research and advisory services
• Quarterly usage and engagement reports
• Ad hoc briefings and tailored research upon request
• Executive summaries aligned with strategic priorities.

Access to a comprehensive and regularly updated repository of ICT research, including:

• Technology trends and forecasts
• Vendor evaluations and market quadrants
• Sector-specific insights

Research coverage must include areas such as:

• Cloud computing and infrastructure
• Cybersecurity and data protection
• Digital platforms and service delivery
• Artificial intelligence and automation
• Enterprise architecture and ICT governance
• Access to webinars, and roundtables
• Opportunities for staff to engage with peers and industry experts

The desired outcome is for the department to have ongoing access to consolidated ICT research and advisory services to assist with its evidence-based decision making and delivery of continuous improvements and efficiencies for its ICT services.

The department’s technology capability is delivered by 2 divisions, with 1 division primarily focussed on ICT infrastructure, architecture, platforms, security, corporate applications, and services; and 1 division focussed on ICT architecture, and application development.
