Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Yellow Water Boardwalk Upgrade project is located adjacent to Cooinda Lodge, 45 minutes drive from Jabiru and 3 hrs drive from Darwin.

Tenders are sought from suitably qualified Head Contractors to construct the following:

  • Demolition and Removal Works 
  • Partial demolition of existing boardwalk and pontoon structures 
  • Removal and disposal of all existing infrastructure in accordance with environmental requirements 
  • Site restoration and preparation for new construction
  • Marine Infrastructure Works 
  • New Public Pontoon and Gangway per drawings 
  • New Commercial Pontoon and Gangway 
  • Boat ramp edge upgrades 
  • All marine works including piling, structural steelwork, and marine-grade finishes Boardwalk and Access Infrastructure -
  • New boardwalk system including entrance deck, viewing platforms, and circulation areas 
  • DDA-compliant pathways and accessibility features -
  • Retain existing boardwalk in place from Grid 47 westwards.

Tenderers are to include pricing for design and construction of a ramp for tie in with existing boardwalk, to approximate extent shown, as an option for client consideration; -

  • Site grading and surface treatments per drawings 
  • Furniture and fixture installation 
  • Softscape and revegetation works per Parks Australia requirements 
  • Environmental protection and restoration measures Services and Electrical Works 
  • Solar lighting system installation
