City Hall, located at 1 Bounty Street, Lismore, is one of the region’s key civic and cultural facilities. Originally constructed in the 1960s and modernised in 2013, the venue is currently undergoing further upgrades including internal layout improvements, enhanced accessibility and more flood resilient finishes.

As part of this restoration and upgrade project, Council is renewing the internal fitout of the Auditorium, Fountain Room and Studio to improve functionality, flexibility and accessibility.

Once reopened, City Hall will provide a flexible venue capable of hosting:

• Performances and live entertainment

• Exhibitions and cultural programming

• Conferences and functions

• Community events and gatherings

• Education, workshops and rehearsals

The renewed spaces will support a broad range of civic, cultural, community and commercial activities.

To support these uses, Council requires new seating and tables, with the potential inclusion of portable platforms or risers suitable for multipurpose configurations and frequent operational handling, subject to consultant recommendation. This RFQ seeks quotations for the supply and delivery of furniture and equipment to ensure that City Hall can reopen with durable, high quality, flexible and visually cohesive venue furnishings that meet contemporary standards and operational needs.
